Troposphere is billed per connection. If your plan is $119 per connection per month and you connect three accounts, your bill is 3 × $119 = $357. Each connection includes its own resource allowance.
A connection is a single cloud account, subscription, or project you link to Troposphere. You can have multiple connections on a single plan up to the tier limit.
A resource is any item Troposphere discovers from a connected provider — typically anything returned by the provider's inventory API, plus billed items. A managed Kubernetes cluster is usually 30–60 resources because each VM, disk, load balancer, and identity is discovered separately. We show you the exact count after you connect.
On Starter, the resource limit is a hard block — you'll be prompted to upgrade. On Professional, overage is billed in transparent blocks of 100 resources, so nothing stops working unexpectedly.
